Within the school grounds we have a basketball-court
and 3 other hard-court areas. Basketball, yard hurling (which is like
indoor hurling) and soccer are but some of the games played there. A
play area is currently being developed for play-school and junior classes.
Chess, draughts and a host of other games are played
indoors.
The old school in Crusheen is now used as a community
centre. We use it for PE, in wet weather. We put on our Christmas concert
there also.
We are very fortunate to have safe and easy access
to Crusheen GAA grounds across the road from the school. All our home
games are played there. We take our PE classes there, weather permitting,
and we have our sports day there also.
