We are delighted to welcome our
pupils back at school, refreshed and rested after the holidays. Let's

CONGRATS!
Congratulations to Conor Cleary (Second
Class) who recently won an All-Ireland silver medal in Community Games
Art at Mosney. Well done also to Niamh Moloney (4th class) who also
represented Clare in the art competition. Congratulations also to the
Crusheen Comhaltas U12 Group which came second in the All-Ireland Fleadh
in Letterkenny. Sarah Cunningham, Colin Vaughan and David Kearney (Fifth
Class) were members of the group.
PET`S DAY
To celebrate World Animal Week, Ms. Cathy
Byrne, the Tulla-based Vet. featured on RTE`s Vets On Call recently
will visit the school on Tuesday, 3rd October. Cathy will talk to the
pupils about caring for their pets.
SCHOOL
MASS
Fr. Damien Nolan will celebrate a beginning
of the year Mass for pupils and staff in the school at 11.45 a.m. on
Thursday, 21st September.
INFANT
MEETING
A meeting of the Parents/Guardians of the
Junior and Senior Infants will be held in the school on Wednesday night
at 8 p.m., 13th September. We look forward to seeing you.
FIRST
COMMUNION MEETING
Parents/guardians of First Holy
Communion pupils are invited to a meeting with Fr. Maurice Harmon in
Ruan Hall on Wednesday, 20th September at 8 p.m.
STAFF MEETING
School will close for a staff meeting
at 12.30 p.m. on Friday, 22nd September.

PUPIL`S INSURANCE
The above is now available through the school
as in previous years. The annual premium is now €5.00 per pupil
(school related activities only) or €8.00 for 24 hour cover. The
personal insurance is optional. The Board of Management holds insurance
to cover its legal liability for accidental bodily injury but claims
are met only where negligence can be proved on the part of the school.
For any further information please contact the principal. Please return
money by Friday, September 29th. Forms attached. Family members can
use the same form.
