SEACHTAIN NA GAEILGE

Bhí an-spraoi ag páistí agus múinteoirí leis an réimse leathan imeachtaí a bhí ar suíl le haghaidh Seachtain na Gaeilge. Sa chlár, bhí spórt, ceol, amhránaíocht, comhrá, tráth na gceist, cluichí teangan, léiríu ar sheanfhocail, ealaíon and ceardaíocht agus go leor eile. B'é buachphointe na seachtaine an chuairt a thug Tim Collins agus Enda Mulkere ar an scoil dé hAoine. Sheinn siad leis agus do na páistí agus bhí an-craic go deo ag cuile dhuine.
The visit of Enda Mulkere, together with local music teacher, Tim Collins brought a fitting and most pleasant conclusion to the various events organised for Seachtain na Gaeilge. Tim and Enda had a lively session of music and story with pupils of all classes in the school. Interestingly both men are currently involved in a research project involving schools, Clare musicians and the internet.
