HURLING

Our Senior Hurlers were defeated recently in the semi-final of Division 1A. A physically stronger Ennis C.B.S. team got the better of them in glorious sunshine at Gurteen on June the 8th. Despite fielding a very young team our lads put up a great display in the first half and battled bravely right to the end. No one could be faulted for effort and the displays of Briain Dillon, Anthony Rodgers, Jamie Fitzgibbon and Conor O'Loughlin were worth noting.
Finally Mr.O'Leary would like to thank the panel of players for their dedication and enthusiasm for training during the year.

GERRY GLEESON

1st and 2nd classes wish to thank their hurling and football coach, Gerry Gleeson for the commitment and time he gave to them during the past year. Gerry is pictured above receiving a big 'thank you' card from 2nd class.
