RECYCLING

Many thanks to everyone who brought in cards, batteries and stamps for recycling. We have recently returned a box of used batteries to Return Batt. We have sent the stamps to the Irish Peatland Association where they will use the money raised to buy trees for used boglands. All cards will be recycled, thus preventing extra use of our landfill sites.

BUSY FINGERS

Before Christmas girls from 3rd and 4th classes were busy knitting soft toys. These included teddies, dolls santas and snowmen. A huge effort was made by the children and all agreed that the finished toys were well worth the effort. Well done girls!
