Dorothy DoLittle's
Magical Adventure
We were delighted
to welcome the Call Back Theatre Company to the Community Hall on Thursday
November 24th where they performed their puppet show to promote Healthy
Eating. Pupils from neighbouring schools, Boston, Ruan and Tubber also
enjoyed the performance. Many thanks to Dr. Anne Griffin and the Mid
Western Health Board for their support in organising and funding this
venture. A draft Policy for Healthy Eating distributed in the Newsletter
dated 25/10/05 has been formally agreed. School eating habits have already
improved considerably and we greatly appreciate everyone's co-operation
in bringing this about.
CHRISTMAS CAROL SERVICE
Preparations are underway
for our Carol Service in the Church on Wednesday December 21st at 7.30

allow us all a time for reflection on the true meaning of Christmas.

participated and their efforts will be on display in the Church at our

Recycling
Again this year, in
January, we will be collecting used stamps, cards and batteries for
recycling as part of our Green Schools Campaign.
ENERGY SAVING TIP
: When buying batteries this year, please, if possible purchase rechargeable
ones, as they save both energy and money in the long term.
