HURLING

Yesterday our boys and girls played Ennis National School in two challenge games. Our boys started off brilliantly but as the game went on the Ennis boys' superior physical strength shone through. The Ennis National School were the winners. Anthony Rodgers, Colin Vaughan, Jamie Fitzgibbon and Connor O'Loughlin were most impressive.
In the girls' match, it was a close game. As it was many of our girls' first ever-competitive camogie match, this game was a great experience and our girls showed great skill and determination, with Sarah Cunningham (goals), Aine McNamara and Kim Daffy excelling. Hannah Leonard and Ruth Kearney were our goal scorers.
