Parent's Council
The primary aim of the council is to make all parents feel they have a part to play in the school, and a contribution in helping to make their child's years in the school a positive time in their life.
-To foster good communication between parents and teachers.
-To work on fund-raising events and provide opportunities for social/educational interaction between parents.
This year we have contributed financially towards educational needs of our school.
We have helped with Christmas concert, Seachtain Na Gaeilge, artwork, crochet, school tours, Green School and at sports day.
New parents are actively encouraged to join the council every year. In order that the Parents' Council is truly representative of all children from Junior Infants to 6th class, a minimum of two parents per class should attend meetings which are held three times a year.
